About us
The Physical Therapy Research Laboratory was established on 2010 by professor (emeritus) Ruthy Dickstein in order to enhance research aimed at promoting health and coping with the direct or indirect effects of malfunction of the human sensory-motor systems. The research includes applied physiology, clinical neurophysiology, human movement and performance analysis, motor behavior, and motor control- along the life span and in pathological conditions. Our advanced equipment is partially stationary and to some extent modularly with numerous options for temporary installation in hospitals or outpatient clinics. The Physical Therapy Laboratory is one facet of a prosperous academic program serving our academic staff and students from all the academic degree programs. We collaborate with academic peers from the University of Haifa as well as from other academic and clinical settings in Israel and abroad.
